A rich teal blue Jamdani saree, woven in pure Katan silk using the traditional interlock technique — the same care that gives it a clean, tidy finish on the reverse side, not just the front. Delicate zari bootis are scattered across the body, with resham jaal work adding fine texture throughout the drape.
The fifth photograph is the back of this saree. A powerloom carries thread across the reverse between motifs. A handloom does not.

Five and a half metres, about 1.1 metres wide, with an unstitched blouse piece of roughly 0.8 metres. The fall and pico are done in Banaras before the saree ships. Woven in Banaras.
Dry clean only. Store folded in the muslin it arrived in, never in plastic, and refold along different lines every few months so the zari does not crease in one place.
